Execution of Studies and Designs - Los Chorros and Las Mandarinas

Description
The project contemplated the construction of a tunnel of 8.6 kilometers in length, in the sector between Bermellón (Tolima) and Galicia (Quindío), modified internal section with a diameter of 4 m and a maximum coverage of 850 m; located at an average height above sea level of 2,500 m with a slope of 0.96% descending towards Quindío.

Additionally, in the second half of 2006, the contract was extended in order to carry out the annexed or complementary works necessary to connect the area of the Quindío Portal of the La Línea Tunnel with the Américas Road Interchange, which would be located in the vicinity of the Armenia - Ibagué Trunk Road, in the sector known as Américas.

The annexed or complementary works contemplated the construction of three (3) short road tunnels, called La Estrella (327 m), Los Robles (884 m) and Los Chorros (612 m).

Services
Execution of studies and designs for the mitigation works for the unstable sites of Los Chorros and Las Mandarinas.
