Description
The Transversal del Sisga is 137 km long and runs through the municipalities of Chocontá (Sisga Sector), Department of Cundinamarca, Machetá, Guateque and San Luis de Gaceno, Department of Boyacá and Aguaclara in the Department of Casanare (National Routes 55CN03, 5607 and 5608).

The Transversal del Sisga project is part of the national initiative known as the Second Wave of 4G Roads and its scope includes rehabilitation, improvement, replacement of drainage works, reconstruction of the pavement structure, paving of paved areas and attention to critical sites, among others. The project is divided into four functional units: Sisga - Guateque, Guateque - Macanal, Macanal - Santa María and Santa María - Aguaclara.
